Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, the Sporting News has picked the All 20th Century Black Sox team--not on the basis of something as crass as wins. No sireee bob! These all time Black Sox greats were picked for their tenacity in the face of insurmountable odds. Their sheer love of the game. And for how they fit into those tight little pants.
The players listed here endured losing streaks that would have sent the current Black Sox running to their mammies. Awwww, what's the matter little Black Sock, don't like losing seventeen games in a row? Grow the @#*% up and have another beer! Have some Nacho Cheese Flavor Doritos--they'll grow hair on your knuckles. These were real men. These were the original Men in Black. These were the guys who drafted Don Gury to improve our pitching staff (not to mention our ability to pick up girls...) These were the Baltimore Black Sox.
